Description
Ruderal Sans is a boxy sans serif that mixes cut corners with rounded ones. It's named after ruderal plants, the weeds that grow out of cracked pavement. The letterforms are inspired by overgrown brutalism, with the edges representing the coldness of manmade architecture, and the curves and inks representing nature.
There are two weights, Regular and Bold, and each comes in three finishes. Clean has smooth, exact edges and works great as body text. Light Ink and Heavy Ink look more printed, with the ink spreading past the edges and filling in the corners. Heavy Ink is the roughest, and works great for headers or designs that are rough around the edges.
The font includes capitals, lowercase, numbers, punctuation and arrows, plus alternate versions of the g and x.
