Here at Ulysses Design Co, we love vintage letterpress typography. The charming subtle print imperfections are full of authenticity and soul.
This font was inspired by an alphabet from The Expert Sign Painter by Asham Kelly, a book documenting American letterpress type from 1849 to 1928. The style was once a hallmark for shopfront and restaurant window signage. We wanted to create a typeface that lets designers easily bring that feeling to life.
All the letters have been hand-drawn in-house by the Ulysses Design Co team. We’ve done the sign painting so you don’t have to! The font comes in two styles and three weights for flexibility. Use it to add some vintage inspired hand sign painted charm across your branding projects.
