From late-night idea to global creative hub
Our Story
Studio 2am began in 2020, during the thick of the pandemic, with one of those “what if we just made it ourselves?” moments. Like a lot of designers stuck inside and rethinking everything, we were frustrated by the endless scroll of generic, outdated design assets that felt uninspired and impersonal. So we stayed up late, built the kind of tools we actually wanted to use, and quietly shared them online.
The first few products resonated, downloads started rolling in, and it turned out thousands of other creatives felt the same way. What started as a small side project during a strange, uncertain time quickly grew into a trusted space for designers around the world looking for original, useful, and thoughtfully made resources. Since then, Studio 2am has served over 100,000 designers, artists, studios, and creative teams globally. We’ve grown into a full-time operation with a tight-knit team, but that original mindset hasn’t changed: we’re still just as obsessive about creating and curating design tools that are practical, well-crafted, and creatively sharp.

What We Do
At Studio 2am, we offer a handpicked collection of fonts, mockups, textures, graphics, effects, templates, and more — each one selected with intention. We don’t believe in throwing thousands of options at you just to fill a page. We focus on utility, style, and detail, making sure every product we list is something we’d actually use ourselves.
Whether you’re building a brand, refreshing a portfolio, working with a client, or just experimenting on something new, our products are designed to make the process smoother and more enjoyable. They’re easy to work with, flexible enough to suit different styles, and thoughtfully made by people who understand design from the inside out.

Our Creators
In 2022, Studio 2am began partnering with other independent creators — graphic designers, typographers, illustrators, and studios whose work we admire. Many of the products you’ll find on the site now come from these talented contributors.
We keep things fair: creators earn 50% of each sale, and their names are always front and center. We believe in giving credit, paying properly, and building a space where artists can focus on making great work without dealing with gatekeeping or hidden fees. It’s a win-win: our customers get more variety and inspiration, and our partners get a platform that respects their time and talent.

We’re not chasing trends or rushing releases. We’d rather keep things intentional. The goal is the same as it’s always been: to make good design tools more accessible, and to support the people who use them.
