Description

MMR — Mixed Media Research is a series of experimental textures created through physical materials and real printing processes. Everyday objects are used as processing tools, and the results are captured through repeated printing and scanning.

The bundle combines textures made using paper, tape, fire, glue, reverse prints, and analog glitches. All distortions and artifacts are the result of real material interactions — no digital simulations.

Included packs

Tape. Paper. Fire.
Translucent layers of tape, stacked, partially melted, and burned. These processes create dense, multi-layered surfaces with strong physical structure.

Reverse Print
Textures taken from the reverse side of printed paper. Repeated printing enhances depth and surface complexity. Includes abstract halftone elements.

Glitched Print
Analog glitches captured through camera sensors under varying light, angles, and surfaces. Printing softens the digital distortions and converts them into usable textures.

Print on Glue
Glue traces preserved through printing. Depending on application, the surfaces show soft strokes, cracks, and tears, creating worn and distressed textures.

Printed Tape
Textures created through the interaction of paper tape and paper. Rigid edges and clean lines are fixed through printing into structured, unified surfaces.

All textures are delivered in ultra-high resolution, 300 DPI, JPEG format.

Suitable for:
Posters • Album covers • Typography • Editorial design • Branding

Hi, I'm Textexp and I create materials for graphic designers. I often do very experimental projects that give any work a bit of madness and incredible style. I place a high value on quality and love bringing analog effects into a digital environment.
